AARHUS v FREDERICIA – Pick: 1 AH-1 – 28 August 2014

Aarhus to continue goal-scoring spree

International Football Tips

Football – Denmark – 1st Division

Thursday 28th August 2014 – Kickoff: 1900hrs

AGF Aarhus will be looking to continue their recent good form when they entertain Fredericia at their NRGi Park in Thursday night’s 1st Division clash.

AGF have bounced back well from their home defeat to Viborg where they lost 0-2 in the league, with a point away at HB Koge in a 0-0 draw and then back-to-back wins. They gained almost immediate revenge over Viborg in the Cup with a 2-0 win away and a crushing 5-0 win at AB Copenhagen last Saturday.

The hosts now need to convert their good away form onto their home turf now having put together two 5-goal wins on the road, and with strikers Vatsadze (6 goals) and Skhirtladze (2 goals) working in tandem up front, they should get on the scoresheet here again tonight.

Visitors Fredericia have also posted back-to-back wins recently with home wins over Lyngby and Skive 2-1 and 2-0 respectively, but these should be taken with a pinch of salt as both of these wins have been at their Monjasa Park ground.

Away from home, Fredericia have been far less convincing with just two wins on their travels from their last fifteen away matches in the Danish 1st Division, including failing to score on seven occasions during this sequence. In addition, Fredericia have kept just three clean sheets on the road during this time.

With these statistics in mind, I believe AGF should take all three points here tonight, and in addition, cover the generously priced handicap on offer too. this could be a 2-0 win for the hosts here.

Pick: AGF Aarhus AH-1 @ 2.10 Pinnacle
