Second placed Rheindorf Altach will need to take advantage of home ground CASHPOINT Arena on Saturday evening when they play host to struggling Mattersburg in order to maintain their push for european football next season.

Visitors Mattersburg sit second from bottom in the Austrian Bundesliga and although they’ve registered three wins from their last four league matches, all of these came at their Pappelstadion with victories gained over Sturm Graz, Wolfsberger and St.Polten.
But the reason behind their current predicament can be found when looking at Mattersburg’s results away from home during this campaign; they remain the only side in the division yet to record a win on the road amidst a very poor record of 0-2-9 8/24.
Mattersburg have failed to score on five occasions on their travels so far this term along with failing to keep a single clean sheet as well, and these factors have combined to result in their current disappointing league position.
