Manager Mark Hughes has made The Potters a hard side to beat both home and perhaps to a slightly lesser extent, away from home, but they head into this afternoon’s clash having lost just once in their last nine.
That defeat was a surprising 1-0 loss at home to Bournemouth, while their away record is maybe a little fragile as it stands at 2-3-2 7/8. That said, Stoke still remain unbeaten when taking on the top half teams away from home so far this season with a win at Watford and draws at Middlesbrough and Manchester United (these were in the early weeks of the season mind you).
