Visitors West Ham find themselves currently in a holding pattern in 8th place having been involved in four draws on the trot in the Premier League with stalemates against West Brom, Manchester United, Stoke City and Swansea City, while they hold a reasonable record away from their Boleyn Ground.
The Hammers’ away record stands at 4-3-2 13/10 although they’ve failed to win in their last four matches on their travels with losses at Watford and Tottenham along with the aforementioned draws at Man United and Swansea.
But West Ham possess a solid record away at bottom half teams with an overall record of 2-2-0 7/3 which should give them more than just a fair chance of getting something at Villa Park today.
