But most of Ponte Preta’s success this season has stemmed from their impressive home form which has seen them register nine wins from their 13 matches played on home turf so far this term, while their away form has been more sporadic.
An away record of 2-4-7 13/24 emphasises this, and having now gone six matches on their travels now without a win, the visitors could find themselves up against it with Atletico PR looking to chase down a Copa Libertadores qualifying spot.
