National League Tips

BARROW v SOLIHULL MOORS

Football – England – National League Betting Tips

Barrow have recently emerged as one of the candidates for a play-off place in the early weeks of this National League campaign as they head into Saturday’s encounter on the back of an impressive 14-match unbeaten run.

This solid run of results has seen Paul Cox’s side lift themselves up into early play-off reckoning, and with a visit from bottom half club Solihull Moors at their Holker Street ground on Saturday afternoon, the hosts will be keen to keep their run going by taking all three points on offer today.

In addition, Barrow still remain unbeaten on home turf with an overall record of  6-3-0  18/6 which includes wins over York City, Maidstone United and Eastleigh while forwards Harrison and Bennett have notched a total of 17 goals between them to date this term.

Visitors Solihull Moors can be reasonably pleased with their first season in the non-league top flight  so far as they sit in a relatively comfortable 16th place but they’ll be concerned about the number of recent defeats that have been inflicted upon them in the past few weeks.

After a run of five league matches without defeat, the midlands club have lost four of their last five in the National League as they’ve slumped to losses against Aldershot Town, Tranmere Rovers, Forest Green Rovers and Dover Athletic.

Solihull’s away record stands at a so-so  3-2-4  8/12 and although they’ve gained recent wins away at Maidstone United and Braintree Town, these have been against sides that are also in the bottom half of the division.

Barrow’s good run of form will bring them confidence and so I’ll back them for the win here today.
