BATE will be keen to bounce back from two recent defeats when they entertain Granit this evening at their Borisov Arena in Borisov and in turn extend their lead at the top of the Vysshaya Liga.
The hosts should be spurred on by the fact that second placed rivals Dinamo Minsk registered a heavy 4-1 win away at Dinamo Brest on Saturday, and along with third placed Krumkachy, are closing in on the current league leaders.

Visitors Granit have become the early ‘draw specialists’ so far in this new Vysshaya Liga as they’ve been involved in no fewer than six stalemates from their first nine league matches of the season. They’ve lost on just three occasions from their last 15 league matches overall, and just once in their last 12.
Away from home, they’re still unbeaten with a record of 1-2-0 5/3 having drawn at Neman Grodno and Naftan (both in 1-1 scorelines) along with registering a 3-1 win at Slavia, but they’re expected to face stiffer competition this evening in Borisov.
But seven matches without defeat on their travels at this level has instilled confidence into the squad, and they’ll also take heart from the fact that they’ve held BATE to 1-1 draws in each of their last two away meetings in the Vysshaya Liga.
