Bradford can register win against poor Chesterfield

League One/Two Tips

BRADFORD CITY v CHESTERFIELD

Football – England – League One Betting Tips

Bradford City extended their unbeaten run in League One to five matches following their recent useful 2-1 win away at Northampton Town, and The Bantams sit in 5th place in the English third tier ahead of their clash with floundering Chesterfield at Valley Parade on Saturday.

Bradford have recently been involved in four draws on the trot with stalemates against Charlton Athletic, Walsall, Scunthorpe United and Bury, but a win today could see them move level on points with fourth placed Rochdale.

Bradford also one of only teams to still remain unbeaten at home so far this season in League One with a record of  5-8-0  19/9 and you can see that the draw features prominently on home turf for Bradford this season. However, the attacking trio of Hiwula-Mayifuila, Clarke and Hanson will be pressing for all three points here.

Onto Chesterfield, and they currently occupy a place in the relegation zone having lost three of their last five matches overall with defeats suffered against Peterborough United, Rochdale and Port Vale, and even a 1-0 home win over high-flying Bolton Wanderers hasn’t been enough to lift The Spireites out of the bottom four.

Chesterfield’s story doesn’t get any better on their travels as they’ve lost 10 of their 13 away matches to date amidst a very poor record on the road of  1-2-10  10/24, and the last time they made their way to Valley Parade, they lost 2-0 back in May last year.

I can see a similar scoreline unfold here again today as Chesterfield have managed just one clean sheet away from home all season, and have conceded 2 goals or more on no fewer than eight occasions from 13 away matches.
