Bradford should beat Shrewsbury at Valley Parade

League One/Two Tips

BRADFORD CITY v SHREWSBURY TOWN

Football – England – League One Betting Tips

Bradford City will go in search of a third successive win in League One as they look to maintain their promotion form when they take on struggling Shrewsbury Town at Valley Parade on Saturday afternoon.

Recent back-to-back wins over Fleetwood Town and Chesterfield have thrust The Bantams up into second place in the English third tier and they now occupy one of the automatic promotion spots – the challenge is that they now need to stay there!

But with Bradford being the only side in the division to remain unbeaten so far in this new campaign, and with home advantage behind them here, they look likely to continue their impressive run of form. Bradford’s home record stands at  2-3-0  7/4.

Visitors Shrewsbury Town find themselves in the bottom four in these early stages of the new season having now gone five league matches without a win and taking just three points from the possible 15 on offer from these last five matches.

The points were earned in three consecutive draws in recent weeks as they were involved in stalemates with AFC Wimbledon, Peterborough United and Swindon Town, but they’ll do well to gain a point at Valley Parade on Saturday afternoon I fancy.

Shrewsbury have managed just one away win from their last seven matches in League One and that was a 3-2 win at bottom club Oldham Athletic recently, but their record this season currently stands at  1-2-2  5/8 which includes failing to score twice so far this season on their travels.
