BRAINTREE TOWN v KIDDERMINSTER

Saturday 21st November 2015 – Kickoff: 1500hrs

Football – England – National League Betting Tips

Braintree Town registered an emphatic 6-3 win away at struggling Halifax Town last Saturday which maintained Braintree’s push for a play-off place as they sit in fifth place in the National League.

Braintree Town have lost just once in their last eight matches overall which was a 2-0 defeat away at Lincoln City who sit in 7th place, but recent wins over Dover Athletic and Macclesfield Town who both occupy top half positions, prove that Braintree are worth serious consideration for another three points here at the Amlin Stadium this afternoon.

The Iron’s overall home record stands at  4-3-3  8/8 and they’ve lost just once in their last six on home turf, but forwards Cheek and Akinola have been amongst the goals in recent weeks, so they may well strike again today.

Visitors Kidderminster chalked up only their second National League win of the season at the weekend when they beat Aldershot Town 2-0 at their Aggborough Stadium ground which backed up a previous home win over Woking the week before.

However, both of these recent successes were achieved on home turf while on the road, Kidderminster are still looking for their first away win of the new season. Kiddie’s away record stands at  0-5-5  13/19 having lost at Bromley, Macclesfield Town and Chester.

Kidderminster’s record away at top half opposition stands at a similar  0-2-2  7/9 and they look to have their work cut out to get anything at the Amlin today.

I will therefore back Braintree Town for the three points here with perhaps a 2-1 win.

Pick: Braintree Town straight win @ 1.73 bet365
