Rovers and Wycombe both to score

League One/Two Tips

BRISTOL ROVERS v WYCOMBE WANDERERS

Tuesday 1st December 2015 – Kickoff: 1945hrs

Football – England – League Two Betting Tips

Mid-table Bristol Rovers took a point away from home on the weekend in a 1-1 draw away at Exeter City and they’ll no doubt be looking to build upon this encouraging result this evening when they take on Wycombe Wanderers at the Memorial Stadium.

Rovers have returned some mixed results of late with defeats to Crawley Town and Stevenage along with recent wins posted against Cambridge United and Carlisle United along with the draw with Exeter City, but overall The Pirates have scored in 12 of their last 13 matches overall in League Two.

Rovers’ overall home record reads a poor  2-1-6  8/12 but they’ve scored in four of their last five matches on home turf with forwards Taylor, Easter and Harrison being the danger men up front for the hosts.

Visitors Wycombe Wanderers maintained their unbeaten run in League Two on Saturday with a 2-2 draw at home with Portsmouth to extend their streak to five matches without defeat, a run which has lifted The Choirboys up into 9th spot in the English fourth tier.

Recent away wins at Mansfield Town and Yeovil Town suggest that they can cause more problems in Bristol tonight, while their overall away record stands at a solid  5-3-1  11/4 with an additional recent win away at Exeter City.

Midfielder Thompson is Wycombe’s leading goalscorer but don’t rule out veteran striker Paul Hayes who can be relied upon to hit the back of the net on a regular basis at this level.

All in all, I reckon both teams stand a good chance of scoring here this evening.
