Burnley can take a point off Bournemouth at Turf Moor

BURNLEY v BOURNEMOUTH

Football – England – Premier League Betting Tips

Even though Burnley find themselves five league places and four points below this afternoon’s opponents Bournemouth, today’s hosts Burnley may well fancy their chances of getting something from this encounter at Turf Moor.

Early season form indicates that Burnley’s best chances of avoiding relegation this term is strong home results, and The Clarets have achieved all four of their Premier League wins on home turf with wins gained against Liverpool, Watford, Everton and Crystal Palace.

Burnley’s home record stands at a reasonable  4-1-3  11/8 and taking all three points on Saturday would move them closer to a safer mid-table position, and they’ll certainly be wanting to make home advantage count against a Bournemouth side they would count as their equals.

Visitors Bournemouth do sit in mid-table in 10th place in the Premier League following last weekend’s emphatic comeback win over Liverpool after they found themselves 3-1 down and looking down the barrel at a defeat on home soil.

However, The Cherries achieved a great result in the end as they ran out 4-3 winners but Eddie Howe’s boys face a long trip up north to take on Burnley who have shown they are certainly no pushovers at Turf Moor.

Bournemouth’s task is made that much harder as well when you consider their away record that stands at an average  1-2-4  5/13 with their one success coming in an unlikely 1-0 win at Stoke City but then crashed to a 3-1 defeat at Arsenal immediately afterwards.

I reckon Burnley have enough about them to earn at least a point at Turf Moor today.
