BURNLEY v WEST HAM

Football – England – Premier League Betting Tips

Burnley will be keen to finish their Premier League season on a positive note on Sunday afternoon when they take on West Ham at Turf Moor in what has been, by and large, a successful campaign for The Clarets.

Two seasons ago, Burnley were relegated from the English top flight along with Hull City and QPR, but unlike so many clubs and board of directors in the modern day, Burnley stuck by their manager, Sean Dyche, and they have reaped the rewards from displaying a little bit of loyalty which so often is missing these days.

Dyche lifted Burnley back into the top flight from the Championship and they currently sit in 15th place and six points clear of the bottom three thanks to an impressive home record of  10-3-5  25/18 which has seen the home side lose just twice in their last ten matches at Turf Moor.

Visitors West Ham have rallied in recent weeks despite suffering a heavy 4-0 defeat at home to ‘hot and cold’ Liverpool as The Hammers had previously put together an improved run of five matches without defeat in the Premier League.

Wins over Swansea City and Tottenham book-ended draws with Sunderland, Everton and Stoke City, and no doubt manager Slaven Bilic and the players will be keen to end the season and re-group during the summer months.

It’s been a strange season for West Ham who seem to have just drifted through this campaign and have only really got going when things too a turn for the worst as they bounced back from a miserable March and early April which saw them lose five on the trot.

It’s therefore hard to say which West Ham will be on show today, but I’m confident that Burnley can at least avoid defeat here, but they may win this one perhaps 2-1.
