Another fascinating (and even more vital) clash is the lunchtime kickoff at The Valley with hosts Charlton Athletic taking on automatic promotion and title contenders Burnley with only pride at stake for the hosts having already been resigned to the drop.

But The Clarets stuck by their man and it has almost paid off with interest as Burnley head into today’s clash on the back of a 9-game unbeaten run which has currently placed them top of the Championship and two points ahead of both Middlesbrough and Brighton (who are both on 88 points).
Burnley therefore need another win to avoid what could be the bitterest blow of all if they fail to win and Both Middlesbrough and Brighton win to claim the two automatic promotion spots!
