Wycombe could move level with play-off pack tonight

League One/Two Tips

DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE v WYCOMBE WANDERERS

Tuesday 9th February 2016 – Kickoff: 1945hrs

Football – England – League Two Betting Tips

Second from bottom club Dagenham & Redbridge will be looking to break a run of three League Two matches without a win when they play host to Wycombe Wanderers this evening but this may be easier said than done as the hosts have still yet to win on home turf.

Dagenham slumped to another defeat in a 1-0 loss away at Cambridge United on the weekend, and with a poor home record of  0-4-9  9/24 behind them, they could struggle once again tonight despite holding home ‘advantage’.

The Daggers have lost seven of their last eight at home and their difficulties in scoring goals has been the main cause for their current league position as they’ve failed to hit the back of the net on 6 occasions from their 13 home matches to date.

Visitors Wycombe Wanderers sit in 10th place in League Two as they too have struggled recently to put a string of wins together to make an impact upon the play-off pack. However, a win tonight would see them go level on points with 7th placed Portsmouth, and although The Chairboys have lost four of their last five overall, they do possess a good away record.

Wycombe’s away record in League Two stands at  7-3-3  14/8 and they’ve registered recent wins on the road at Yeovil Town, Luton Town and second placed Plymouth Argyle whilst also keeping a total of 8 clean sheets amongst their 13 away matches so far this season.

Dagenham’s inability to score goals along with Wycombe’s solid away record should see the visitors come away with something here tonight, but I recommend giving the quarter-ball on Wycombe to be safe.
