After a run of four National League matches without a win, Eastleigh must have breathe a big sigh of relief when they earned all three points in a narrow 1-0 win away at 10th placed Boreham Wood, but Eastleigh are expected to have their work cut out for them in this evening’s clash with Forest Green Rovers.

Forest Green have now slipped down to third place in the National League following this disappointing run of results, but they’re still only three points off the pace setters at the top of the division, Lincoln City.
A win for Forest Green tonight could see them move level with Lincoln City who are not in action on Tuesday night although they do have two games in hand over their title rivals. Forest Green’s away record stands at 9-0-4 29/15 as they tend not to deal in draws on their travels, and they’ve also scored the most away goals in the division to date this season.
