Eastleigh also look for a fourth league win on the trot when they head into their Saturday afternoon clash with Southport at the Silverlake Stadium, knowing another three points could lift them up into early play-off reckoning in the National League.

Since that rare win, Southport have slumped to five matches without a win in the non-league top flight suffering defeats to Macclesfield Town, Lincoln City, Forest Green Rovers and Dover Athletic – the latter being inflicted at home.
But it’s their away results that will have raised early alarm bells in the Sandgrounders camp as their record stands at 0-0-4 2/15, losing all four of their away matches so far and they have also conceded the most goals on the road in the league so far.
