Football – England – Premier League Betting Tips

Everton head into their Friday night clash with Watford seeking to avoid a third consecutive league defeat in the English top tier following recent back-to-back losses to Chelsea and Swansea City, but they return to their fortress Goodison Park tonight.

The Toffees hold a very decent and solid record on home soil with stats of  12-4-2  41/16 under their belts so far this season, and although they’ve suffered the two aforementioned losses in recent weeks, I cannot see any reason why they can’t bounce back with a win on Friday evening.

Striker and the Premier League’s leading goalscorer, Lukaku, will be looking to further add to his impressive goal haul tonight which currently stands at 24 goals, and with Watford having one of the poorest records on the road, there’s every chance of this happening.

Onto Watford then, and the visitors currently sit in 15th place in the Premier League following a recent slump in form which has seen the Hornets lose four of their last five league matches, and now sit just six points above third from bottom club Hull City.

Defeats to Tottenham, Hull City, Liverpool and Leicester City resulted in 10 goals against and failed to score in reply as Watford have really struggled to hit the back of the net in recent weeks. Striker Troy Deeney seems to be out of favour with manager Mazzarri which seems odd, given that Deeney is their leading goalscorer with 10 goals.

To make matters worse, Watford possess a poor away record of  3-3-11 12/34 which includes having lost their last five on the road on the trot (which have all been to nil), so the omens aren’t good for The Hornets when they make their way to merseyside here.
