Hull City can extend 100% home record

HULL CITY v PRESTON NORTH END

Saturday 29th August 2015 – Kickoff: 1500hrs

Football – England – Championship Betting Tips

Hull City suffered defeat for the first time in this new Championship season last weekend when they went down 2-1 to Charlton Athletic at The Valley, but no doubt they’ll be looking to bounce back at the KC Stadium this afternoon where they hold a 100% record.

Hull City have registered back-to-back home wins on home turf over Huddersfield Town 2-0 and Fulham 2-1 to start their season off in style, but last week;’s defeat at Charlton will make the Tigers focus harder today I daresay.

Hull’s early home record stands at  2-0-0  4/1 and the likes of Akpom, Jelavic and Hernandez have all opened their account along with creative midfielder El Mohamady also notching for the hosts.

Visitors Preston North End have adapted reasonably well so far in their return to the Championship and they currently sit in a comfortable mid-table position in these early weeks of the new campaign.

However, Preston have won just once so far in the league which was a 1-0 win away at fellow newcomers MK Dons at the stadium:mk but they’ve also drawn with Middlesbrough and Rotherham United in 0-0 stalemates, while suffering defeat at home to Ipswich Town last weekend.

Preston’s early away record reads a reasonable  1-1-0  1/0 but they face a much tougher opponent in Hull City this afternoon, who are tipped to be amongst at least the play-off pack if not automatic promotion later in the season.

I fancy Hull City to bounce back here at home with perhaps a 2-1 or 1-0 win for the hosts.
