INTER MILAN v TORINO – Pick: 1 – 25 January 2015

Inter to grab important three points today

International Football Tips

Football – Italy – Serie A

Sunday 25th January 2015 – Kickoff: 1500hrs

After a torrid November and early December, Inter Milan have recovered somewhat with a run of five Serie A matches without defeat which includes wins over Chievo Verona and Genoa along with draws with fifth placed Lazio, league leaders Juventus and Empoli.

This afternoon they entertain bottom half club Torino with the hosts desperately needing all three points to keep in touch with the teams situated in the european positions. Inter’s home record stands at  4-3-2  21/13 and they’ve lost just once in their last six.

The positive factor in Inter Milan’s favour is that they’re joint third placed in Serie A in terms of goalscoring at home, and they’ve scored in each of their nine home matches. Possible goalscorers for the hosts are strikers Icardi and Podolski – the latter yet to open his account for manager Roberto Mancini.

Visitors Torino go into today’s match with Inter Milan on the back of six matches without defeat which has lifted them away from the relegation zone where they sit in 13th place. But despite this good run, Torino have still only registered just two wins from their last ten league matches.

One of those two wins came away from home at second from bottom club Cesena in a 3-2 victory but that has been a rare occurrence on the road for Torino whose overall away stats read  2-2-5  8/14 along with having failed to hit the back of the net on four occasions so far this term.

Inter need the points today and I’ll back them to just about get up here as they possess a better attacking threat than the visitors. Inter to win perhaps 1-0.

Pick: Inter Milan straight win @ 1.80 bet365
