Second placed Juventus could move top of the Italian top flight if they take all three points in this evening’s clash against Genoa, and if top of the table Napoli slip up against Lazio on Wednesday night.
And with Juventus having won their last twelve Serie A matches on the trot, it looks very likely that tonight’s hosts will be challenging Napoli for top spot, while Juve’s overall home record stands at an equally impressive 7-2-1 17/6 having won their last seven on the trot. Amongst these results, the hosts have registered four clean sheets while scoring a total of 15 goals themselves.
Strikers Dybala (12 goals) and Mandzukic are the main goalscorers for the hosts, and they’ve been well supported by fellow forwards Zaza and Morata as the goals have flowed on home turf.
Visitors Genoa are unbeaten in their last four although their performances have been a little more modest with draws against Hellas Verona and Fiorentina along with wins over Atalanta and Palermo (who are both in the bottom half of Serie A currently).
Away from home, Genoa possess a record of 1-4-6 9/16 with their one victory on their travels being achieved at Atalanta, but with just one clean sheet away from home all season, Genoa could struggle once again to contain another top side in the shape of Juventus this evening.
