Following two recent heavy defeats away from home, Lazio will be eager to return to their Stadio Olimpico ground tonight where they will host bottom half club Genoa in Wednesday night’s round of Serie A matches.

Visitors Genoa head into tonight’s encounter on the back of two consecutive defeats in the Italian top flight as they’ve lost recently to Fiorentina and Juventus, and they’re likely to have their work cut out here tonight as they look to keep the hosts Lazio at bay.
This may be easier said than done as Genoa have lost three of their first four Serie A matches which was a 2-0 home win over 15th placed Hellas Verona, but on their travels they’ve been dealt back-to-back 1-0 defeats at Palermo and Fiorentina respectively.
Indeed, Genoa’s form on the road has been abysmal as they’ve managed just two wins from their last ten and have failed to keep a single clean sheet during this sequence.
This should therefore be a fairly straight-forward home win here tonight for Lazio who could pip their visitors by a possible 1-0 margin.
