Leicester and Tottenham to produce more goals

FA Cup & League Cup Tips

LEICESTER CITY v TOTTENHAM

Wednesday 20th January 2016 – Kickoff: 1945hrs

Football – England – FA Cup 3rd Round Replay

Leicester City and Tottenham meet for a third time in four matches when the two Premier League sides do battle once again, this time in the FA Cup third round replay at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday night.

Leicester City were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw away at Aston Villa on the weekend but they can switch off from the pressures of Premier League football this evening as they look to progress in the cup competition against a Spurs side who are also in the frame for european football next season.

Foxes strikers Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez present a real danger up front for the hosts who, incidentally, have lost just once in their last 14 home matches at the King Power, and their best chance of success is to return to their attacking style of football.

Visitors Tottenham bounced back in emphatic style on the weekend as they romped to a 4-1 win over Sunderland at White Hart Lane which ended a run of three matches without a win as they drew with Everton in the league and Leicester City in the FA Cup 2-2 along with a defeat to The Foxes in the league.

Tottenham are unbeaten in their last seven matches in all competitions which should hold them in good stead in tonight’s decider in the east midlands, and with attacking players such as Kane, Dele Alli, lamela and Eriksen, Spurs look good for a goal or two tonight as well.

Both teams will be keen to get this fixture done and dusted within ninety minutes without the need for extra-time or penalties with important Premier League fixtures due this weekend, so I reckon we could see some goals here tonight.
