Third win on the trot for Leyton Orient?

League One/Two Tips

LEYTON ORIENT v CAMBRIDGE UNITED

Football – England – League Two Betting Tips

Leyton Orient will be going in search for a third league win on the trot this afternoon when they entertain Cambridge United at the Matchroom Stadium under the new O’s manager Kevin Nolan who has made a great start to his managerial career in East London.

Leyton Orient registered a 1-0 home win over Newport County in midweek which followed a solid 2-0 win away at Wycombe Wanderers in the match prior, and with a pretty reasonable home record of  7-4-3  24/16 under their belts on home turf, The O’s could take another three points here today.

The hosts will certainly be keen to do so with the likes of Accrington Stanley and AFC Wimbledon breathing down their necks, and with just one defeat in their last six on home ground, Leyton Orient  look a good bet to deliver the goods.

Visitors Cambridge United registered a second stalemate on the trot last weekend when they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by fourth from bottom club Hartlepool United which means that Cambridge have now gone four matches without a win in League Two.

The U’s had also previously lost to AFC Wimbledon and Crawley Town, but recent encouraging results on their travels have resulted in Cambridge currently occupying a safe mid-table league position.

Cambridge’s away record stands at  5-5-4  20/16 having recently won at Morecambe, Plymouth Argyle and Dagenham & Redbridge, but they have since stumbled to defeat at Crawley Town and gained a point at Luton Town in a 0-0 draw.

I’ll back Leyton Orient here but I’ll give the quarter-ball for a little extra insurance.
