Lincoln City deservedly sit top of the National League ahead of their clash with bottom club York City on Tuesday night, following an impressive run of three league wins on the trot which has pushed The Imps to the top of the league table.
Recent wins over Solihull Moors, Woking and North Ferriby United have shown Lincoln’s strong desire to return to the Football League as well as the hosts also possessing a strong home record at Sincil Bank of 11-3-2 36/13, and with home advantage behind them once again on Tuesday night, The Imps could extend their lead at the top.

But although York possess a poor looking away record of 1-6-9 11/32, they head into this encounter having avoided defeat in their last four matches on their travels. On the flip side, York have managed just one away win all season, and they’re coming up against the league leaders away from home tonight…
