The late kick-off on Saturday in the Premier League brings us a mouth-watering clash in prospect as hosts Liverpool take on second placed Tottenham in a top five encounter with a precious three points up for grabs for both teams.
The wheels appear to have come off for Jurgen Klopp’s side though as they’ve now gone five league matches without a win in addition to cup losses to Wolves in the FA Cup and a two-legged defeat to Southampton in the League Cup.

Tottenham are also unbeaten in their last nine matches overall in the English top flight, while their record away from home has been pretty solid with stats of 4-6-2 20/11 which includes a run of four matches without defeat on their travels ahead of their trip to Merseyside for this encounter.
The last five encounters between these two sides have been closely contested, while four of these last five fixtures have seen both teams score – I’m expecting both to score again here today.
