Both Luton and Yeovil to score in scrappy affair

League One/Two Tips

LUTON TOWN v YEOVIL TOWN

Tuesday 2nd February 2016 – Kickoff: 1945hrs

Football – England – League Two Betting Tips

Luton Town suffered another defeat on the weekend in League Two, this time to Notts County in a 2-0 defeat at Kenilworth Road which has resulted in The Hatters remaining in the bottom half of the division.

Luton have managed just one league win from their last six, or two wins from their last eleven overall which makes for pretty glum reading if you’re a Luton fan expecting them to challenge for the play-offs this season. That goal has pretty much evaporated along with their home form which has nose-dived in recent weeks.

An overall home record of  3-4-7  17/21 includes four defeats from their last five on home turf with losses to Carlisle United, Northampton Town, Wycombe Wanderers and Notts County. The hosts will therefore be keen to get themselves out of this current rut tonight with the visit of Yeovil Town.

Onto Yeovil Town then, and they sit third from bottom in League Two just one league position and three points ahead of Dagenham & Redbridge but recent results have been encouraging for The Glovers as they’ve registered three wins from their last four which has kept their heads above water.

Recent wins over York City, Crawley Town and AFC Wimbledon have given tonight’s visitors real hope of survival and they’ll no doubt fancy their chances of getting something away at a beleaguered Luton Town this evening.

Yeovil’s away record stands at  2-3-9  11/21 but they did manage three points away at Wimbledon on their last away trip which will give them confidence when they travel to Luton this evening.

With both teams in poor form generally, I’ll back that both teams score tonight.
