Man City look for fourth win on trot

MANCHESTER CITY v WATFORD

Saturday 29th August 2015 – Kickoff: 1500hrs

Football – England – Premier League Betting Tips

It’s advantage Manchester City after the sky blue half of Manchester took Chelsea to the cleaners the other week with Pellegrini’s team registering a convincing 3-0 win over last season’s Premier League champions.

Manchester City have started the new season in explosive fashion after winning their first three league matches on the trot (all to nil I might add) with wins over West Brom 3-0 away, Chelsea 3-0 at home and last Sunday’s 2-0 win at Goodison Park over Everton.

The Citizens now host new-boys Watford at the Etihad Stadium with the visitors still looking for their first top flight win since May 2007 when they were last rubbing shoulders with England’s elite. Manchester City strikers Bony and Aguero are expected to cause plenty of problems for Watford’s defence this afternoon.

Visitors Watford are still unbeaten in their return to the Premier League after an eight year hiatus although they come into today’s clash with Manchester City having been dumped out of the Capital One Cup following their midweek loss away at Championship outfit Preston North End.

Watford have drawn all three of their opening matches in the Premier League with stalemates against Everton, West Brom and Southampton but the worrying thing for the Hornets’ fans is that their side have failed to score in four of their last five matches in all competitions.

It’s still early days of course, but Watford will not have pencilled in anything for this match in terms of a return and they will realistically have to wait until next week at home against Swansea City for a chance to further add to their points tally I feel.

So, this should be a straightforward Manchester City win with the hosts winning both halves here at decent odds in what could be a 2-0 win with a goal in each 45 minutes.
