PORT VALE v MILLWALL

Football – England – League One Betting Tips

Although Port Vale suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Ground on Saturday, they have a great chance of bouncing back with a win on Tuesday night when they take on Millwall at Vale Park as they seek to extend their 100% home record.

Port Vale have won all four of their home matches in League One to date having registered wins over Southend United 2-0, Rochdale 1-0, Scunthorpe United 3-1 and Gillingham 2-1 amidst an overall impressive home record which stands at  4-0-0  8/2.

Strikers Forrester and Jones have done most of the damage so far for the hosts this season and they’ll be looking to add to their goal tallies this evening in order to maintain the Valiants’ 100% home record here tonight.

Visitors Millwall were handed a second defeat on the trot in League One on Saturday when they went down 3-2 at home to Rochdale at the New Den, as this defeat followed a 3-1 loss away at Southend United in their previous match.

It’s now four matches without a win for The Lions in the English third tier as they were held to back-to-back stalemates against Bradford City and Coventry City respectively, while their results away from home have prevented Millwall from breaking into the top half of the division so far.

An away record of  1-1-2  7/11 includes heavy defeats at Peterborough United 5-1 and the aforementioned Southend United 3-1 and it’s now nine games on the trot away from home without keeping a clean sheet for tonight’s visitors.
