Reading jumped into third spot in the Championship following a 3-2 win away at Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park and they’ll be looking to take something from this Boxing Day clash against a Norwich City side who have been out of sorts in recent matches.

Visitors Norwich City dropped down to 10th place in the Championship following a very disappointing 2-1 loss at home to Huddersfield Town at Carrow Road and this defeat became their seventh defeat in nine matches as The Canaries are seemingly in free-fall mode.
In addition, Norwich City make their way across to Berkshire on the back of four straight defeats away from home as they’ve suffered losses at Brighton, QPR, Derby County and Barnsley while their away record now reads a poor (by their standards) 3-2-6 16/23.
The Canaries’ defence must be a concern for all involved in the squad as they’ve failed to keep a single clean sheet away from home throughout this season to date, and this must therefore tip the balance in Reading’s favour here.
