Sevilla are seemingly halfway to progressing through to the Europa League quarter-finals having avoided defeat in Switzerland following a 0-0 draw away at Basel in the first leg of this tie, and they now hold home advantage at their Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán in Thursday night’s second leg.

Visitors Basel managed to stay in this fixture with Sevilla by holding the Spanish outfit to a 0-0 draw on home turf at their St. Jakob-Park, but they’ll be up against it tonight in the return leg in Seville as they look to progress through to the quarter-finals in Sevilla’s backyard.
With recent wins away at Fiorentina, Belenenses and Lech Poznan, Basel may well fancy their chances of causing an upset in tonight’s second leg, but they face a strong Sevilla outfit who have lost just twice at home in the domestic La Liga, while they also tasted defeat last time out on their travels with a 3-2 loss away at Saint-Etienne.
