St Mirren ended a run of seven league matches without a win in the Scottish Championship on the weekend when they registered a much-needed 2-0 win away at fellow strugglers Ayr United, but they face a tough task against Hibernian this evening despite returning to their Paisley Stadium.

Visitors Hibernian sit top of the Championship with a commanding seven-point lead over second placed Dundee United and they head into tonight’s encounter against St Mirren on the back of an impressive ten-match unbeaten run.
Hibs have also been impressive away from home all season as well, and deservedly sit top of the Championship with their sights set firmly on promotion back up to the Premiership as they hold the best away record in the division, which stands at 8-4-1 17/6.
The visitors are unbeaten in their last five on the road which includes wins recorded at Falkirk, Dumbarton and Queen of the South as well as keeping seven clean sheets on their travels too which has set them apart from their rivals.
