Following back-to-back stalemates with Tigre and Rosario Central in 2-2 and 0-0 draws respectively, Velez Sarsfield will go in search of all three points this evening when they entertain Olimpo.
The hosts have actually lost just once in their last five matches overall and will no doubt be looking to build upon these two recent encouraging results against teams that currently hold top eight positions in the Primera Division.

Visitors Olimpo halted a run of four matches without a win in the Primera Division last weekend with a 3-1 home win over Aldosivi following defeats to Lanus and Independiente (both away from home) along with draws at home with Nueva Chicago and River Plate.
Olimpo’s overall away record though has been poor for much of the season so far as they’ve registered just one win on their travels which was a 3-1 win at lowly Huracan who sit 25th position in a 30-team league. Olimpo’s overall record stands at 1-2-6 5/13 and they’ve lost four of their last five on the road.
Olimpo’s recent form away from home suggests they could well struggle at Velez tonight, so I’ll back the hosts to register all three points tonight in what could perhaps be a 1-0 win for the home side.
