Football – Norway – Tippeligaen Betting Tips
Viking can close the gap on the teams in early contention for Europa League spots if they manage to register all three points against lowly Bodo/Glimt at their Viking Stadion on Sunday evening.
Viking currently sit in 6th place following a fairly solid start to the new Norwegian Tippeligaen season and tonight’s hosts have won three of their last five matches overall with wins over Haugesund, Tromso and Lillestrom – the latter being Lillestrom’s only defeat on home turf so far this term.
Viking hold an even home record of 2-2-2 5/5 and despite a poor start to their home campaign which saw them lose their first two home matches, they’ve since recovered with wins over the aforementioned Haugesund and Tromso.
Bodo/Glimt find themselves in the lower reaches of the Norwegian top flight following just one win from their last nine matches overall, which was a 2-1 win away at fellow strugglers Tromso. However, their form away from home has generally been pretty average with an early record of 1-1-3 4/7.
In fact it’s just one win from their last nine on their travels too, and their last trip to Stavanger to play Viking ended in a 2-1 defeat for Bodo/Glimt who look likely to face another long, tough season fighting against relegation this season.
In addition, Bodo/Glimt have conceded in each of their last 25 away matches which provides a further indication as to their prowess on the road.
