Wimbledon's firepower too much for Yeovil

League One/Two Tips

AFC WIMBLEDON v YEOVIL TOWN

Saturday 30th January 2016 – Kickoff: 1500hrs

Football – England – League Two Betting Tips

The Cherry Red Records Fans’ Stadium is the venue of my next pick as hosts AFC Wimbledon take on lowly Yeovil Town with the hosts bidding to capture a fifth straight win on the trot in League Two which could see them break into the play-off pack.

Wimbledon have previously beaten Exeter City, Cambridge United, Mansfield Town and Notts County and this improved run of form has lifted The Wombles up into eighth spot with the visit of third from bottom Yeovil coming up. Wimbledon’s overall home record stands at  5-3-5  17/17 so there’s still a lot of work to do on home turf.

But with an attacking personnel that contains players such as Akinfenwa, Elliott, Azeez, Barcham and Taylor, the hosts will be confident of taking the spoils here this atfernoon.

Onto the visitors Yeovil Town, and although they’ve recently recorded a couple of encouraging wins over York City and Crawley Town respectively, they remain level on points with second from bottom Dagenham and Redbridge, along with both wins coming at their Huish Park.

Sadly, away from home performances have been Yeovil’s achilles heel as they head into this afternoon’s trip to Wimbledon on the back of nine away matches without a win having suffered five losses in their last seven.

Yeovil’s away record stands at a poor  1-3-9  8/19 and they are the lowest goalscorers on the road in League Two which may be another factor in deciding this afternoon’s outcome at Wimbledon.
