ATP Tennis Betting Week and Live Streams – Moscow, Stockholm and Vienna

Race To London is still alive and crucial points on offer this week

October 14th, 2013 / Lee A Jackson
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga

There is plenty of great tennis betting around this week on the ATP and best of it will come through live betting. The Final ATP World Tour 250 series events of the season will play themselves out this week in Europe, with tournaments running in Vienna, Stockholm and Moscow. The next big event on the calendar though will be the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London in November and there are still points up for grabs for anyone looking to squeeze their way in to the action.

The place to head this week for your tennis betting will be Bet365 who are offering tremendous live tennis streams from across the tournaments. This opens up fantastic new value markets when the game is actually in swing for your live betting. You can get close to the action, get a feel for the match and which way it will swing, potentially offering even more profit! Access to the live tennis streams is free for funded account holders. If you need to sign up for a Bet365 account, then new customers registering can get up to a free £200 bet as well as a welcome bonus!

ATP Vienna Betting
This is the Erste Bank Open and heading the field here is Jo Wilfried Tsonga who is running into a good bit of form towards the end of the season. The Frenchman won the title here back in 2011 and is in the mix for what would be his second title of the year. After missing a good chunk of the summer with injury, it has been a pretty strong showing from him to push his way towards the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals. Needs to keep momentum going and is strong favourite at odds of 6/4 with Bet365 to walk off with the title. Not a great deal of depth in the field, with Tommy Haas and Gael Monfils tracking at 4/1 and 6/1 respectively. Monfils, who beat Roger Federer last week to reach the Shanghai quarter finals, would meet Tsonga in the quarter finals, and really there’s so little coming from the bottom half, it should be a toss up between Haas and Philipp Kohlschreiber to duke it out for a shot in the final from there.

ATP Stockholm Betting
The biggest talents are really split across the tournaments this week for your tennis betting, so it should be worth jumping on favourites. Over at the IF Stockholm Open it is Milos Raonic and David Ferrer who are topping the bill and it is the Canadian Raonic who really needs a deep run. The big serving Raonic is 11th in the Race To London and needs some points to try and make it into the qualifying top eight. He has taken a wild card entry here so he is serious about trying to get those points and is in at 7/4 favourite to win the event, because of what is at stake and perhaps the fact that he reached the semi’s here in 2011 in his only previous appearance. Second favourite Ferrer is at 9/2 to take the title, but he can take it easier because he has already qualified for the ATP World Tour Finals. The surprises in the field could come from Jerzy Janowicz, but again, with such a strong duo at the head of the field, real value is in live match betting.

ATP Moscow Betting
The Kremlin Cup sees Richard Gasquet trying to make it to the World tour Finals for the second time in his career. He is sitting 10th in the race at the moment (top eight qualify) and needs a good run to try and muscle his way in. This is his debut in Moscow. Italy’s Andreas Seppi looks a decent option  at 5/1 against Gasquet’s favouritism of 7/4. Those two should be apart until the final, and if you are tracking the best outsider shots behind them then you will be looking at Alxandr Dolgopolov and Janko Tipsarevic. Neither of the latter two are going to make it to London, and you can throw the defending champion Seppi into that as well. So all impetus and initiative should be there for Richard Gasquet, who was in great form, reaching three consecutive semi finals until he bombed in the first round of Shanghai last week.
