David’s Over/Under Predictions 8-9 May
May 8th, 2009 / davidp
Over/Under 2.5 goals predictions
Bolton v Sunderland – Under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.70)
Bolton will look at this match as their best chance to mathematically secure another season in the top flight.
They have Mark Davies(2assts) back in training but this game will be too soon. Shittu & Gardner(4gls,1asst) may figure at some stage.
Sunderland may have Tainio available for the trip to the Reebok, but keeper Gordon is definitely ruled out for the season.
The game will be too soon for McCartney also.
Both teams have a record 7 over/10 under (Bolton at home & Sunderland away). Should be a low-scoring game.
Preston NE v Sheff Utd – Under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.65)
Preston are boosted by the return of Wallace(5gls,14assts), but Williamson(1gl) is suspended, and Chaplow(3gls,1asst) & Hart are sidelined.
United have two major injury doubts but boss Blackwell is not divulging who.
However, O’Toole(1gl) & Craig Beattie(1gl,1asst) are both pushing for recalls.
Sheff Utd will be desperate to keep a clean sheet at Preston and with their current record; 8 over/15 under, this underlines their well organised defence.
Should be a tight,tense game.
Good luck!
