Arsenal v Manchester United Money Back Special – Manchester United could all but clinch the Premier League title on Sunday with a win over Arsenal at The Emirates. Coming off the back of a strong away performance in the Champions League, all the momentum looks to be with the Red Devils, although Gunners boss Arsene Wenger won’t want his side to roll over again against Manchester United this season. The Gunners have suffered twice this season at the hands of United already, both in the league and the FA Cup, and with Arsenal now out of title contention, all they have left is to ruin United’s weekend. Paddy Power are running a Money Back Special for Sunday’s big match in the Barclays Premier League. If there are four or more goals scored in the Arsenal v Manchester United fixture, then the popular online bookmaker will refund all losing Correct Score, Scorecast and First/Last Goalscorer bets. This means you can get some extra coverage on your big match betting, and with Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie trading around 5/1 to open the scoring, there is good value to be taken. Will this be the weekend where United all but seal the title, or will wins for Arsenal and Chelsea (over Tottenham) keep things alive for at least another week? Head to Paddy Power for your Arsenal v Manchester United football betting, and enjoy the benefits of this money back special. New customers registering an account with the highly recommended bookie, can get a free £50 matched bet when signing up.

Manchester United v Stoke City Betting Tip & Odds: United are at home, and that generally means three points in the bag for them. No reason to think otherwise here, but as everybody is expecting it, then there isn’t going to be too much margin for profit on backing them as outright winners. So, off to the Asian Handicap markets we go. United have scored heavily against Stoke in their last two matches at Old Trafford, so that is something to take into consideration. Rooney may not play, but it won’t hurt United too much as he is not amongst the goals this season. Berbatov will be the man, and United’s top scoreline at home has been 2-0 this season, which they have finished with three times. So a Manchester United -1.50 Asian Handicap for 5/4 at Bet365 is decent odds on them to win by two goals again.

Manchester United to win: 3/10 at Bet365
Draw: 9/2 at SkyBet
Stoke City to win: 11/1 at Bet365

EPL Match Preview: The title really looks as if it will be Manchester United’s to lose from this position. Staring the new year at the top of the Premier League, with their nearest challenger level on points with United, but with United having two games in hand, it’s a pretty picture for Sir Alex Ferguson at the moment. They kept their unbeaten record for the season going with a hard earned victory at West Brom. It was another one of those totally lacklustre away day performances from Manchester United, and only a contested late goal by Javier Hernandez secured all three points for the Red Devils, who perhaps should have been down to ten men in the match. The United midfield just didn’t get to grips with the game at all, and it again highlighted the weakest area of the team. However, with the great defence which they have, and the quality up front, they are getting by, and now they head into their twentieth match of the season without having suffered a loss, while all around them are dropping points. Next on United’s hit list is Stoke City, who are enjoying a decent season themselves sat in eighth place. But this match is about United and about United picking up another three points which will really start to widen the gap at the top of the league. It is hard to see them dropping enough points at this rate, to let anybody catch them. As exemplified by the match at West Brom, remembering that United had drawn seven of their eight away matches all season prior to that, they do not even have to play well to keep the points ticking over.

That is what Manchester United are, relentless
. If there is going to be a dramatic late goal, you can bank on Manchester United getting it. They are treading a very thin line this season, because on a whole they haven’t played like Champions really in terms of quality and flair, but it has all been down to hard graft and perseverance. United have already gotten the better of Stoke this season, winning 2-1 away, their only victory prior on the road prior to the West Brom game. If you are looking for stats to back up any thought of the visitors pulling off a shock victory, then you may want to curb your enthusiasm a bit to prepare yourself for this next part. In their last seven visits to Old Trafford, Stoke have not put a single goal past Manchester United. The last time United did concede a goal there against Stoke, it was back in a 2-2 draw in the 1980/81 season of the old First Division. In the two Premier League fixtures between the two clubs at Old Trafford, Manchester United have been ruthless, winning 5-0 and then 4-0, and you can perhaps look towards a good clean sheet from United, plus a few goals in the bag. Perhaps it could be argued that Stoke are better, and they are more capable of putting up a staunch defence, but this is a United side which has conceded just six goals at home this season. The head to head record between the two sides at Old Trafford makes good reading for the home fans, as Manchester united have a 48% win percentage against Stoke at Old Trafford, with 35 of the fixtures ending in draws.

The point is, that United are going to outscore Stoke. It doesn’t matter if Stoke comes to town and brazenly scores a brace, you just feel that United will score three. It is almost a bit of a foregone conclusion that one way or another, three points will be heading Manchester United’s way at the end of ninety minutes. United may not risk Wayne Rooney, who picked up a knock against West Brom, along with Patrice Evra. United may have to do the business without Nani in midfield again, as he nurses a hip injury. United are an ordinary side, and let’s not forget that here. Still, they have to be looked at as favourites to win this match, and put pressure on the other teams trying to chase them.

Stoke may be thinking that they at least won’t get beaten as heavily as they have done in the past at Old Trafford. That’s a good place to start. Although they have lost all five of their Premier League fixtures against Manchester United, it took a late, late goal for United to steal all three points when they went to Stoke. What Stoke will do, is battle hard and be direct. There will be no messing around from the Potters, as Tony Pulis likes his unsubtle approach to the beautiful game. There is a lot to play for from Stoke, as they could finish the night in sixth place if they win. Their form has been a little bit patchy though, beating Blackburn away, losing at home to Fulham and then beating Everton. Hit and miss, but that is pretty much every team in the Premier League this season. There is little consistency to be found anywhere. Stoke haven’t lost in their last three away games, which should fill them with confidence. Their biggest results have been a victory over Liverpool, and holding Manchester City to a draw. If they could hold Manchester United to a draw at Old Trafford, then they would be leaving a very happy team. That is the best outcome that they realistically can hope for. These are not the matches which Manchester United are designed to lose, and so it really is up to Stoke to try and prove everybody wrong. It’s not as simple as that though at Old Trafford, where the home side have only dropped two points all season.

A massive game for both sides, Sir Alex Ferguson has stated it as "pivotal" while Wenger has placed less importance in the fixture – the mind games begin.

Bet on this Weekend’s Sport

One of the biggest matches of the season kicks off the action this weekend when Manchester United visit the Emirates on Saturday. Later that day joint leaders Liverpool host West Brom, while the other team at the top, Chelsea, visit Blackburn Rovers on Sunday. Newcastle’s visit to Fulham rounds out the weekends football action, while the big race of the weekend comes from Doncaster on Saturday with the November Handicap at 3.10pm.

Weekend Football

Arsenal v Manchester United
, Saturday, Sky Sports 1, 12:45pm

Arsenal face Manchester United as one of the biggest rivalries in English football is ignited again. Unusually for this fixture, neither of the two sides are at the top of the Premiership, and are already chasing early leaders Liverpool and Chelsea. Arsenal are in a relatively poor run of form, having been beaten in their last Premiership outing to Stoke, and only drawing their midweek Champions League game to Fenerbache. United are into top gear following a slow start, although they were also disappointed with a draw at Celtic in midweek. It could have been a lot worse for United though, as their equaliser came in the closing moments.

Arsenal are 9/5 with BGbet to overturn their poor form, while Man Utd are 5/4 with Pagebet to build on their recent success.

If Nani scores at anytime during Arsenal v Manchester United, BGbet will refund all losing first goalscorer stakes on the match.¹

Liverpool v West Bromich Albion, Saturday, Setanta Sports 1, 5:30pm

Joint league leaders Liverpool will be aiming to take sole possession of the lead of the Premiership when they host West Brom at Anfield. They left it late in midweek in the Champions League against Atletico Madrid, an injury time Steven Gerrard penalty gaining a draw. West Brom will be looking to build on last weeks draw with Blackburn Rovers, which was so close to a win. An 89th minute goal from Rovers new boy Andrews sealed a point for Blackburn in what was a fiery match littered with poor refereeing decisions.

Liverpool are the 2/9 favourites with BGbet to go top of the Premiership outright, while West Brom are 14/1 underdogs with Centrebet to win for the first time in six games.

If Dirk Kuyt scores at anytime during Liverpool v West Brom, BGbet will refund all losing first goalscorer stakes on the match.¹

Blackburn Rovers v Chelsea, Sunday, Sky Sports 1, 1:30pm

Chelsea meet Blackburn on Sunday at Stamford Bridge, and could be chasing Liverpool by that time. They will be glad to get back to Premiership action following their defeat in midweek, when they were beaten 3-1 by Roma. They were in superb form before that defeat, with 5-0 and 3-0 wins over Sunderland and Hull consecutively in the run up to that game. Blackburn will feel confident if they go into the last five minutes only a goal behind, as they have scored in the last five minutes of their previous three Premiership games.

Blackburn are 11/2 with BGbet to upset Scolari’s men, with Chelsea 1/2 at VCBet to maintain their position at the top of the Premiership.

If Joe Cole scores at anytime during Blackburn v Chelsea, BGbet will refund all losing first goalscorer stakes on the match.¹

Fulham v Newcastle United, Sunday, Sky Sports 1, 4:00pm

Fulham welcome a rejuvenated Newcastle side on Sunday, looking for its third straight win under Joe Kinnear. Consecutive wins over West Brom and Aston Villa have the Magpies looking up the Premiership, rather than down, and Obafemi Martins in particular is in a rich vein of form. He has three goals in the last two games, and Fulham will look to stop him. Fulham will be looking for some consistency following recent reults, and will be glad they are back at Craven Cottage following last weeks defeat to Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday
Fulham are 13/10 favourites with Centrebet to claim a second successive home win, while VCBet make Newcastle 11/5 outsiders to extend their winning streak.

If Shola Ameobi scores at anytime during Fulham v Newcastle, BGbet will refund all losing first goalscorer stakes on the match.¹

If Fulham v Newcastle finishes 0-0 BGbet will refund all losing correct score bets on that game.¹

Place a correct score bet on any of the above matches this week, and if it gets beat by an injury time goal BGbet will refund all losing correct score stakes on that match.¹
