Will it be Chris Froome or will it be Nairo Quintana who rides away with the Tour de France 2015 title? That seems to be the big question of the latest edition of the famous road race, the ultimate test of endurance and ability for riders. The race is up and running with Australia’s Rohan Dennis having taken the first stage.

Not too surprisingly, the largest contingent of riders by nationality comes from France, who have 41 riders competing in the race. The nation with the second highest amount of riders is Italy with 16. So there is a fair chance that there will be some French contenders knocking around the stages and Jean-Christophe Peraud, Thibaut Pinot and Romain Bardet all finished in the top ten of last year’s General Classification and the latter two dominated the Young Rider Classification.

Online betting site Betfred are running a great Tour de France 2015 betting promotion for their customers. You will get your money back as a free bet up to £25 if your selection finishes 2nd to a French rider on any stage throughout the Tour de France.

That adds a great bit of coverage to your cycling betting and new customers opening an account with the popular bookmaker can earn up to 30 worth of free bets to enjoy.

Tour de France outright winner odds at Betfred sees Chris Froome and Nairo Quintana as 2/1 joint favourites, following by Vincenzo Nibali at 4/1, Alberto Contador at 9/2, Thibaut Pinot at 20/1 and 33/1 bar.

Britain’s Andy Murray is moving nicely through the Wimbledon draw after overcoming a shoulder problem in his third round tie against Andreas Seppi. After winning the first two sets comfortably, Murray was struggling in the third against the Italian, going down 1-6 before having to receive treatment in the fourth set. After losing six games in a row, Murray rattled off six in a row himself to cruise to a 6-1 win in the fourth.

Murray now moves on to face Ivo Karlovic in the fourth round. Murray has faced the veteran Croatian five times before on the ATP and Murray has won all five of them. Their last meeting happened to beat Wimbledon back in 2012 in the second round when Murray won 3-1 to progress. Murray has dropped a set in three of his five matches against Karlovic and a Murray 3-1 option in Set Betting is trading at 3/1 with Boylesports.

Murray to win 3-0 can be backed at 4/5 with the bookmaker. Karlovic came through a four-set victory over Jo Wilfried-Tsonga in the third round to set up the clash with Murray. The world number 223 took gruelling 7-6 wins in each of his set victories against the Frenchman. The Croatian does bring a massive shotgun serve to the table, but Murray has been returning superbly so far in the tournament and should be able to combat it.

This is the first time that Karlovic has been past the second round of Wimbledon since his run to the quarter-finals in 2009. He has one title to his name this season winning the Delray Beach Open in Florida back in mid-February, beating Donald Young in the final of the ATP World Tour 250 event. Karlovic is a 7/1 quote to beat Murray, with the Brit at 1/12 odds on to book a quarter-final berth.

Online betting site Boylesports are running a great Wimbledon betting promotion. Get a bet down on any match in the men’s draw at Wimbledon and if your player loses the match in the fifth set, then they will refund your lost stake as a free bet up to the value of £25.

There is nothing worse than watching a tennis bet go down in the final set. It is a tough pill to swallow having backed a player in a match and then seeing them go all the way to lose out in a deciding set in a match. There have been some great five-set thrillers so far in the men’s draw, notably Marin Cilic’s epic 12-10 win over John Isner in the fifth set of their third round clash.

His fourth round opponent Denis Kudla also needed five sets in he third round to make it through while Britain’s James Ward suffered a heartbreaking fifth set defeat in his third round clash with Vasek Pospisil, losing 8-6 in the final set. How about the fifth set thriller in the all-French affair between Gael Monfils and Gilles Simon, the latter winning through?

Those five set battles crop up and imagine having lost money on the likes of Isner and Ward in their epic battles. Well, online betting site Boylesports have some great Wimbledon betting insurance in place to cushion some of the blow of seeing such a thing happen.

Place a bet on any men’s match at Wimbledon and if your player loses the match in the fifth set, then you will get your lost stake refunded as a free bet from Boylesports. The maximum refund in the Boylesports Wimbledon Money Back Special is £25 and new customers opening an account with the bookmaker can earn up to £50 worth of free bets as a welcome bonus.

Hats off to James Ward who has made the third round of Wimbledon for the first time in his career? Can the British number four, who is ranked 111th in the world go even further in front of the home support at SW19? The next challenge for Ward, who entered as a wildcard, after posting a second round victory over Jiri Vesely to book his place in the third round, is a match against Vasek Pospisil.

Ward has run into Canadian Pospisil once before, but that was on the Challenger Tour back in 2011. Pospisil is ranked 56th in the world and is running at 1/2 with Sportingbet to take the win over the Brit. However, Ward did come out on top in a straight sets victory over Pospisil in that previous meeting, which should give him a bit of confidence heading into their third round clash at Wimbledon.

Pospisil has only been past the second round of a tournament once before this season on the ATP Tour and took a 9-12 match record this season into Wimbledon. But the record looks great compared to what Ward has managed, carrying just a 2-7 win/loss record this season into Wimbledon. You can see why his accomplishment of reaching the third round is so big! Ward is an 8/5 quote with Sportingbet to win through to the fourth round.

Online bookmaker Sportingbet has a great promotion running for your Wimbledon betting. Back a player pre-match in match betting at SW19 and if they win the first set of their contest but then go on to lose, then you will get your lost stake refunded as a free bet! This applies to the men’s draw only and the minimum bet is £5 and the maximum £25.

Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova are two of the biggest names on show at Wimbledon against this year. Both are former champions as well, Sharapova winning the title for the only previous time back in 2014, but again will be one of the front-runners in the women’s draw for this year’s edition.

Roger Federer has won the title seven times before in his career and he is looking for an amazing eighth title there and aiming to go one step further than his defeat in last year’s final. Federer’s recent win at Halle shows that the old master still has it in him to win titles and he will be heading to Wimbledon full of confidence again.

Online betting site Boylesports are offering some money back insurance on both the men’s and women’s Wimbledon 2015 draws. Any pre-tournament bets on the men’s draw will be refunded (up to the maximum value of  £25) if Roger Federer wins the championship.

Over in the women’s draw if Maria Sharapova wins the title then losing pre-tournament bets will be refunded to the same maximum value. This offer is open to both mobile and desktop customers and both new and existing customers can take advantage of the Wimbledon promotion, which closes Monday 29th June at 10am.

Bet Victor

It is the Europa League final no Wednesday night, which appears for most to be nothing more than a warm up for the UEFA Champions League final. The action comes from Warsaw as red hot favourites Sevilla, who have won the tournament three times in the last ten years, look to be crowned champions again. They go up against the Ukraine’s Dnipro, who have claimed some big scalps like Ajax and Napoli on their way to the final.

The Spaniards are a high scoring side, joint top scorers in this season’s competition and have recorded the most wins as well. Dnipro though have made progress through to the final all based on defence and when it comes to the big occasion, you usually back the side who are going to have the extra quality up front. Sevilla have that in the form of Carlos Bacca, that’s for sure.

Sevilla go as 8/13 favourites to win, with the draw at 3/1 and Dnipro out at 11/2.

Can Seville retain the title they won last season on penalties against Benfica? Online betting site Bet Victor have a money back special running for the game to enjoy.

If this season’s final goes to a penalty shoot out, then Bet Victor will refund all losing Correct Score, First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Anytime Goalscorer, Half Time/Full Time, Scorecast & Spincast bets as a free bet up to £10. That’s a lot of coverage.

Paddy Power

Chelsea v Tottenham League Cup final betting is going to be the highlight of the weekend, as the two London clubs clash at Wembley. This is a repeat of the 2008 League Cup Final, which Spurs won after extra time, after Jonathan Woodgate had landed the decisive blow in the 94th minute of the match.

Chelsea kick off Sunday as 8/11 favourites with Paddy Power to lift the trophy. That could be down to the experience and expertise of Jose Mourinho in big game situations, because he rarely gets things tactically wrong. That and Chelsea had a full week of rest while Spurs had the distraction of a Europa League match on Thursday night.

Spurs are heavy 4/1 underdogs to lift the title, but the Lilywhites have been an improving side  this season and they have avoided defeat in five of seven matches against the big four this season. They also delivered a hammer blow of a 5-3 victory over Chelsea at White Hart Lane on January 1st.

With Spurs being a confident, free-flowing attacking side, could they disrupt Chelsea, who are likely to be a bit more pragmatic and tight about their approach to getting their hands on the title? There have been eleven goals scored between these two already this season and there may not be too much to split them at Wembley on Sunday.

Online betting site Paddy Power are running a great Chelsea v Tottenham Capital One Cup Final betting promotion. If the match ends in a draw after 90 minutes, then online betting site Paddy Power will pay out on correct score, first goalscorer, last goalscorer and anytime goalscorer markets on the result after extra time has been played.

With Paddy Power, extra time counts!

The offer applies to pre-match singles only, and in the event of a draw after normal time then the results at the end of normal time and at the end of extra time, if different, will both be settled as winners in the markets for Correct Score, Last Goalscorer and Anytime Goalscorer

Sports News

The Honda Classic golf betting has, not too surprisingly, Rory McIlroy at the head of the market by a long shot. A very long shot infact, as the Northern Ireland star tees off this week on the PGA as 10/3 favourite with online betting site Boylesports. That makes him the only man in the field in single figures to land the win, so is there any point in looking any further than McIlroy?

Well, McIlroy came close last season, losing in a play off against Russell Henley. McIlroy has won at the Florida event before, landing the title in 2012 and he is looking in far better shape than he was at this stage last season. He carded a big win at the Dubai Desert Classic of course (which followed his 2nd place finish in Abu Dhabi) this season already, but there is likely to be far stiffer opposition this week than what he faced out there.

There is a good chasing pack of Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose, Sergio Garcia and Keegan Bradley, all the marks coming in at under 30/1 in Honda Classic betting this year. Rose is a solid candidate with three top five finishes on the bounce at the event and while Dustin Johnson has put up some good early form this season, his track record at the PGA National doesn’t make him immediately bankable.

Keegan Bradley, Ryan Palmer and even Lee Westwood all have solid stats and or form to warrant considering, but can any of them stop an in-form and hungry Rory McIlroy, who may well have a bit of retribution on his mind after admitting to throwing away his chance at the title in the 2014 play off. With online betting site Boylesports putting up a great promotion, it makes McIlroy worthy of a punt this week.

Place a pre-tournament outright winner wager on the Honda Classic and if your selection finished second or third (which does include tied finishes), then Boylesports will refund your lost stake as a free bet up to the value of £50. New customer registering an account with Boylesports can get up to a free £50 bet as a welcome bonus too.

The big golf betting action this week comes from the Northern Trust Open on the PGA Tour. There’s a great competitive clutch of players at the head of the market, with Bubba Watson, Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth all teeing off this week’s golf betting at a price of 12/1 with online betting site Boylesports.

Online betting site Boylesports have a great golf betting promotion running for your golf betting. Back any selection in the outright winner market at the Northern Trust and if your selection finishes second or third, then they will refund your lost stake as a free bet for you.

What’s to come next this year in golf? It’s already been a fantastic start to the year, with Rory McIlroy in winning form and Tiger Woods walking away from the game. Will Bubba Watson be able to defend his title at the Riviera Country Club this week? Watson carded a stunning bogey free 7-under rounds on both days of last year’s action.

Jimmy Walker also looks a great proposition this week, and the FedEx Cup points leader is back at one of his favourite courses. He should be a solid lock for a top twenty finish this week, so too Bill Haas who won here back in 2012, defeating Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley in a play off.

Northern Trust Open Golf Odds

Bubba Watson 12/1, Dustin Johnson 12.1 ,Jordan Spieth 12/1, Jimmy Walker 16/1, Brandt Snedeker 22/1, Hideki Matsuyama 25/1, Bill Haas 30/1, Sergio Garcia 30/1, bar 33/1
