Over/Under 2.5 Goals predictions – 18th April
Portsmouth v Bolton – Over 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 2.00)
Pompey may be missing keeper Ashdown and Thomas. Johnson(3gls,3assts)
is available & Davis(1gl,2assts) is pushing for a place.
Bolton’s only injury doubt is Shittu, otherwise they may be unchanged.
Plymouth v Doncaster – Over 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 2.20)
Argyle’s Cathcart(1gl) is still missing, and the game will be too soon
for Mpenza(2gls).
Doncaster have lost Lockwood for the season, while
Heffernan(9gls,3assts) & Spicer(2assts) are pushing for recalls.
Preston North End v Cardiff – Under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.75)
Preston will again be without Davidson(4gls,1asst), but no other injury
worries.
Cardiff defender Johnson(5gls,2assts) is unlikely to be risked following
a throat injury.

Over/Under 2.5 Goals predictions – 10th / 11th April
Man City v Fulham – Under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.61)
City have injuries to Kompany(1gl),Bridge & Johnson. Hamann is doubtful.
Fulham look set to have a full squad to pick from.
Fulham’s away form is poor, and Man City have home advantage.
Prediction: Man City
Reading v Sheff Utd – Under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.66)
Reading look set to recall top scorer Doyle(5assts,18gls), and Hunt brothers; Noel(3assts,10gls) & Stephen(16assts,6gls) may start in their crucial top of the table clash with The Blades.
However, Rosenior(3assts) is suspended and will miss the game.
United have doubts over Kilgallon(1asst,1gl) & Quinn(2assts,7gls).
Watford v Barnsley – Over 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.90)
Watford’s Cowie(1asst,3gls) is out for the season, and Rasiak(3assts,5gls) is not yet fit. Priskin(3assts,11gls) will continue with Smith(8assts,15gls) up front.
Barnsley are without Hume(1asst,4gls) & Coulson. Hammill could start.

Over/Under 2.5 Goals predictions – 4th April
West Ham v Sunderland – Under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.61)
West Ham will be without a host of players;Cole(3assts,9gls),Nsereko,Collison(3gls),Behrami(1gl),Collins,Ashton & Gabbidon.
Sunderland are without Colgan,Connolly,Anderson & Tainio.
I think Sunderland can hang out for a draw.
Prediction: Sunderland +0.5

Over/Under 2.5 Goals predictions – 21st March
Charlton v Preston NE – Over 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 2.05)
Charlton continue to leak goals at home (32 is highest against in league), and Preston have players capable of creating & scoring chances ie Wallace(10assts,4gls),Parkin(3assts,9gls) & Mellor(1asst,7gls), so I expect an open, attack-minded game with some goals.
QPR v Bristol City – Under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.61)
QPR have found scoring difficult of late & their cause won’t be helped by top scorer Blackstock facing a late fitness test.
Bristol City aren’t involved in many games over 2.5 goals away from home, so I’m tipping a low-scoring,dour affair.
Newcastle v Arsenal – Over 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.85)
In contrast to the fixture above, Newcastle fans have enjoyed many goals at home games albeit against their own defence! They do carry their own threat in the return of Owen and Martins is always a handful.
Arsenal also have many creative players; Arshavin, Van Persie,Nasri & Bendtner all capable of finding the net.
My tip; Newcastle’s defensive woes to continue and Arsenal win 2-1.
Bonus tip:
Portsmouth v Everton – Everton +0.5 (odds at Bet365: 1.415)
Tim Cahill should return for Everton against a Portsmouth side with only 1 player of note(Crouch). Jagielka,Lescott etc should take care of him, whilst Cahill,Fellaini,Jo,Saha & Osman should ensure at least a draw if not an away win

Over/Under 2.5 Goals predictions – 14th March

United will be without Brown(1gl),Rafael(1gl),Neville & Hargreaves for their ‘title decider’ against rivals Liverpool.
Liverpool are set to be without Agger(2assts) & Degen.
Doncaster v Birmingham – Under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.53)

Birmingham have major doubts over Bowyer, and Phillips(1asst,13gls) is still injured.

Over/Under 2.5 Goals Predictions – 7th March
I’ve delved into the lower leagues this week as there was nothing suitable in the Championship;
Swindon v MK Dons – Over 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.80)
Swindon have firepower with top scorer Simon Cox(4assts,16gls) ably supported by McNamee(5assts) & Paynter(4assts,7gls), but they also concede a lot at home.
MK Dons are the league’s top scorers away from home (35) and they too have dangerous players in Leven(5assts,10gls),Wilbraham(5assts,12gls) & Jemal Johnson(9assts,5gls).
I reckon there’ll be some goals in this fixture!
Bournemouth v Port Vale – Under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.72)
Bournemouth’s home record of 11 out of 14 games under 2.5gls is one of the reasons for my selection, along with top scorer Pitman rated doubtful.
Port Vale have 3 key players out also, and Bournemouth don’t concede too many at Dean Court.

Over/Under 2.5 Goals Predictions – 28 February
Doncaster v Derby County – Under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.65)
Doncaster look set to be missing McDaid,Hayter & Smith for their interesting tie with Derby.
Coppinger(5assts,4gls) & Mills(2assts) should return to the side, but Wellens(2assts,3gls) is out through suspension.
Rejuvenated County will be without Miles Addison(1gl) & Barazite(6assts,1gl).
However, McEveley,Varney(1gl),Porter & Teale(2assts,1gl) should be fit for The Rams.
Doncaster have now gone an incredible 14 games out of 15 at home with under 2.5 goals in total. An improved Derby have tightened up at the back away from home, so I’ve plumped for another low-scoring game.
Middlesbrough v Liverpool – Under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.55)
Boro will be without Digard(2assts),Riggott & Andrew Taylor when they entertain Liverpool. Fresh from their midweek FA Cup triumph over West Ham, Middbro will be hoping to transfer their momentum in the league.
Liverpool will be missing Degen and possibly Torres(2assts,8gls) after he limped off with an ankle injury against Real Madrid.
Boro don’t score too many at home, and Liverpool away without Torres may have to settle for a single goal deficit in their favour at best.
Bonus tip: Bolton to win v Newcastle (odds at Bet365: 2.00)

Over/Under 2.5 Goals Recommendations – 17/18 February
Tues 17th Feb
Doncaster v Bristol City – under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.60)
Doncaster will be without striker Brooker, and whilst Shiels new signing is in line to play, he hasn’t trained for Doncaster much since his move.
Dele Adebola faces a late fitness test for Bristol C, but Marvin Elliott, McCombe & Ribeiro are still sidelined.
Hartlepool v Leicester – over 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.80)
Stockport v Cheltenham – over 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.65)
Weds 18th Feb
Forest Green v Northwich – over 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.70)

Championship 14 February Over/Under 2.5 Goals Recommendations
Doncaster v Sheff Wed – Under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.66)
Rovers are likely to be without McDaid, Hayter & Ben Smith for the visit of Sheffield Weds.
The Owls continue without suspended Jeffers (1asst,1gl) and injuries to Hinds, Simek, Esajas (4assts,3gls) & Sodje (1asst,2gls) is doubtful after a hamstring injury.
Another Yorkshire derby, and low-scoring Rovers are at home (13 out of 14 home games have resulted in less than 2.5 goals in total), and with creative Esajas out for Wednesday, I reckon a low scoring game is on the cards.
Burnley v Wolves – Over 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.75)
Influential winger Eagles (4assts,5gls) should return for Burnley, but Jordan is doubtful.
Wolves have top scorer Ebanks-Blake (5assts,20gls) likely to feature, along with Collins (4gls) back from suspension.
Both sides often throw caution to the wind, with Wolves away record (12 out of 16 games over 2.5gls) being a prime example. Burnley are very capable of scoring with the likes of Blake & Eagles creating plenty of chances.
Birmingham v Nottm Forest – Under 2.5 goals (odds at Bet365: 1.66)
Blues have Agustien, Parnaby (1asst) & McFadden (3assts,4gls) all injured for the visit of the Tricky Trees.
However, Djimi Traore could make his home debut, and McSheffrey may get a rare call-up.
Forest’s Nathan Tyson (4assts,4gls) should be fit, but top scorer Earnshaw (6gls) is out, along with Moussi (1asst).
James Perch (2gls) is expected to play.
Blues home record (11 out of 16) under 2.5 gls are always hard to break down, and as Forest have top scorer Earnshaw out injured, the chances are that it won’t be action-packed.
