Club England manager Adrian Bevington declared himself “very pleased” with the Three Lions’ ( 9/1 – Euro 2012 Outright ) World Cup qualifying schedule, which begins with a trip to Moldova on September 7, 2012. England’s fixtures as they attempt to qualify for the next World Cup have all been revealed and the national side meet Moldova first before a home match with Ukraine ( 44/1 – Euro 2012 Outright ), and then games home and away against minnows San Marino with a trip to Poland sandwiched inbetween. The Football Association sent a four-strong delegation to Warsaw to help devise the Group H schedule and managed to come up with a fixture list that does not include any qualifiers in June 2013 – which is seen as vital as Premier League players recover from a tough domestic campaign. “We are very pleased to have reached an agreement so quickly today,” Bevington said. “It was important for us to avoid dates in June. We have managed to agree fixtures similar to those we set out to achieve. “There was good co-operation in the room and Poland organised the event extremely well.”

Martin Johnson watched his England side run in ten tries as they thrashed Romania 67-3 in the Pool B clash in Dunedin but warned his players that the World Cup ( England 10/1 Tournament Outright ) starts now. Mark Cueto marked his first start by scoring the Red Rose’s first three tries, while Chris Ashton ( 3/1 Tournament Top Tryscorer ) also scored a hat-trick to take his tally to five, with Ben Youngs, Manu Tuilagi, Tom Croft and Ben Foden also crossing over. However, Romania fielded a weakened team with Tuesday’s clash against Georgia in mind and Johnson is fully aware that there will be much sterner tests to come. “In some aspects of the game, we didn’t really get tested,” Johnson said at the post-match press conference. “Next week (against Scotland) is going to be a different game. This was what it was and we did a job. Next week it really starts, because it will be a scrap.” There will be plenty at stake in next Saturday’s finale against Scotland , regardless of Sunday’s match against Argentina, as Andy Robinson’s men will either need to beat England to qualify for the knockout stages or win to seal Pool B ( England 1/8, Scotland 11/2, Argentina 14/1 Pool B Winner ).
