Bet at home Review 2017 - Sports Betting Review

You land at Bet-at-home and you immediately get something of a fresh feel about a bookmaker. They look a little different from the rest of the pack. They obviously aren’t one of the bigger, more well established bookmakers out there, but they have a pretty good brand growing and you may have seen TV ads from them. They are sponsors of football, getting behind Hertha Berlin, FC Schalke, Austria Wien and SV Ried. Bet-at-home have been in operation since 1999 in humble beginning in Austria. A couple of name changes and takeover later, they are mainly operating in Malta now and they have continuously grown their product portfolio.

Betting markets and odds quality 7/10

One thing we found at Bet-at-home, although you won’t find them in odds comparison websites very often, you will be getting some top odds around. You are going to find yourself using the menu a lot on the website to get to your markets, which is a little design niggle, but then you see good odds and plenty of market coverage and everything feel ok. If you call up a league, say the UEFA Europa League, you will see all matches listed at one with their live odds (plus the number of extra markets on a game to click through to). So that’s good and you can quickly see which ones are going to be live in-play and each match gets a quick link to stats as well.

It’s all very well done and you can even filter the types of bets that you want to look at. That means that you could be looking at the Half-Time odds of example on ten matches listed in one glance. That was a nice feature. Design wise, this is very basic, it is simple, it is clean though and fortunately they have done it well enough where things don’t look cluttered. It looks like a lot of reading and nothing breaking it up, but it’s actually not all that bad.

The sports coverage in the sportsbook is well, you can tell that they are a mainland Europe-based operator, because of some of the market coverage like Basketball, Handball and Volleyball and dipping into perhaps more obscure markets like Gemrany Amataur soccer matches. Betting margins at Bet-at-home run around 6.5% which is just a tad on the higher side. There is a maximum of £100000 per week.

After registering go to the menu and Redeem Bonus and you just enter the promo code TOPUK and you will get the 50% bonus instantly. Nice enough welcome to kick things off with them.

Bet-at-home have never really been a big website for rolling out promotions, they never have and maybe never will. You will find a few promotions on their bonus page but they are mostly competition based. Their biggest one is the Winner of the Day Offer where they give away £50 Euros each and every day. Once a day the bookmaker will pick a random customer to be the winner and then that person has to log in the same day before the close of the day to pick up the free betting credit. If no-one wins on a day, the jackpot just keeps rolling on until someone actually does.

In-play betting 7/10

They have been running live betting since 2009 and you will find plenty of it on the website. A lot of it football of course, but you are not just limited to that because you can go and get your teeth into the likes of Tennis, Baseball and much more. It’s quite a good listing of live sports and not only that, there is clear value running with the betting odds in here as well. They deliver well and there's nothing fancy about any of it, there’s not big graphical interface to show you what is going on in terms of action. But what you can do is bring a multi view to view a few matches at once that you are following.

This is one of those products which just does exactly what it says on the tin. It is live betting, you can browse through a combi or calendar view and you will see odds changes right there. The big plus in their live betting is that the odds are very good and you get a wealth of markets as well. They don’t skimp on delivering plenty of coverage, which is great and the simplicity of it all means that it runs quickly.

Extras & features 6/10

If you have read the rest of the view above you are probably going to guess that there isn’t a big deal of extras and features going on at Bet-at-home. You have virtual sports to enjoy (which they push quite a bit) and they recently released new virtual greyhound racing as well. You can quickly flick around between Today’s Best and Tomorrow’s Bets by links at the top of the page, as well as getting out the live betting section. We liked the inclusion of the stats and they look good as well, pretty in depth. They have a neat feature in their app where you get sports maps so that you can see anyone on your GPS that an event is happening.

We should mention that you are not going to find any horse racing betting or greyhound racing betting happening at Bet-at-home. We have touched on the stats and there is a results service and a live score service as well to boost your experience. That though is just about when you are looking for extra features. You are also lacking some big features like the ever popular cash out and live streaming as well. They aren’t in place there and some punters may miss them.

Payment options - deposit and withdrawal methods 7/10

You can immediately see a stack of funding methods that you can use to get funds into your Bet-at-home account. The nice touch too ist hat on the page where they are all listed (which you can get to from a quick link at the top of the website) you have a info button next to each deposit method to give you a little information. Everything is listed there from the amount of time a payment will take to process as well as the processing fee attached. Most deposit methods will be immediate.

Deposit Methods Include: Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, Dotpay, Skrill, giropay, PayPal, SOFORT, Bank Transfer, paysafecard, Neteller, iDeal, Western Union,
Withdrawal Methods Include: Visa, Bank Transfer, Skrill, Diners Club, Mastercard

User-friendliness of website & mobile app / mobile version 7/10

The Bet-at-home website is straightforward and simple without question that makes it actually not too bad of a site to get around. There is a lot of text and there is nothing there really to break it all up. That may not appeal to everyone though. There is a mobile version of the site so that you can take it over to a mobile device and that is actually a very nice translation over to the mobile, perhaps betting looking that the main website. There is an app, with their Sports Maps app, which gives you a graphical view of all sporting events across the wide and you can see all of the available odds there as well.

Customer Service & Support, Security & Reliability 7/10

At the top of the site there is a Contact/Support link which brings up an online form that you can fill in and send off. There i an email support as well to get a home them and that can be done at service.in@bet-at-home.com and you can also call them up as well on +356-21314833. There’s no mention of call charges or the time the support is open. So all in all you may just be better off clicking on one of their many links around where you can open a live support chat with a representative.

Overall / Conclusion 7/10

Overall, Bet-at-home actually run a really good service and there is quality odds there. They don’t really fall down in any department in terms of operation, market coverage and odds. The big missing part for punters though maybe the fact that there is a lack of the bigger features like live streaming and cash out options. But in general, if you don’t mind that, then you may enjoy a fresh change at Bet-at-home.
