Betbright Review 2017 - Sports Betting ReviewBetbright are one of the crop of newer bookmakers to have launched and they are owned by Dedsert (Ireland) Limited. Their company philosophy is to really deliver to punters what the punters want and aren’t set out to bombard you with texts and emails. They have tried to cut out complicated form and getting heavily into betting jargon as well to help new customers get as much enjoyment out of the site as more experienced punters. They have probably been noticed for their casino, but their sports betting service is actually pretty good.
Betting markets and odds quality 7/10We did notice that first off the sportsbook didn’t offer the expansive range of markets and sports that some of the major, more established brokers in the industry do. However, that may not even affect of lot of punters who never look towards the niche markets but concentrate on the main ones. There is a lot of football on the site and a lot of horse racing, the two staples of UK bookmaking of course. Those are covered very well along with all the other major sports like tennis, golf, cricket and the big north american sports as well.
So you can wrap up everything in a neat and tidy sportsbook and they have recently included virtual sports as well to have a crack at. The odds are fair, nothing spectacular and nothing that would see you losing out heavily to a competitor really. They are in the middle ground somewhere, and that is where you go and look at promotions to try and boost your value. The betting margins are average and with everything being presented very well in the markets, you have a pretty decent product available. The sportsbooks could be more expensive but that doesn't limit you in terms of submarkets on a given sporting event.
Sign up bonus, free bets & current promotions 8/10You can land yourself a free bet as a new customer with Betbright. Head to their website and go through the quick registration process and after having done so, place a minimum £10 bet with them at odds of 1.66 or greater. When that initial bet on your account has been settled, the bookmaker will give you a free bet back consisting of 50% of your stake being £50 the maximum, but this only if your bet loses. Winning first bets will recieve no bonus.
You will find good promotions running through the site and they target a lot of sports with their promotions, from golf, snooker, football and much more. That is a really nice touch because it is not just all about the football. There are good horse racing bonuses running such as best odds guaranteed and you will find good horse racing offers such as a free bet coming back to you if your horse finishes second in a specific race to a favourite.
They run accumulator insurance on football where you can get you lost stake refunded on a fivefold or bigger that loses. You will get a 100% refund if your bet loses by one leg and a 50% stake refund if your bet loses by two legs. It’s worth watching them for promotions and you will see a lot of the new ones scrolling through their carousel on the home page. There seems to be good promotional value all round. There is best odds guaranteed on all UK and Irish racing.
In-play betting 8/10The bookmaker offers live in-play betting so you can follow the live sport with them through a good console. Their live betting operates quickly and efficiently and there is a nice list of current events being organised by sports. There was a nice touch on the in play page of a clear calendar that you can browse through by tabs to see what is coming up. Much like the sports book, the organisation and clarity of the in-play betting section is very good. We like the design a lot on the site.
You will find a good amount of markets available for a current live sports event, although unlike most bookmakers, they don’t tell you on the main overview page how many markets there are for a game. You simply click the ‘more’ button and find out for yourself. That was a little niggle. But everything else from the score and the current time in a game is listed there on the overview. You can collapse sports that you don’t want to see on the in-play betting page.
Extras & features 8/10You get the big feature of BBTV, which is the Betbright TV live streaming service. This is available for funded account holders and they bring streams right to your desktop. That’s a great feature to have running alongside the live in-play betting. You can access the streams from the button on the top menu bar. They do run a blog as well where you can find sporting news and tips in some places, plus a statzone where they get into more depth about a current event. It’s worth a poke around.
There are nice quick links to Football Coupons, everthing from UK Elite to Both Teams To Score and they are available on the home page. You get good stat coverage across the site, from the usual horse racing fare to football stats and beyond. They do offer a Special market for those things outside of sport too and as mentioned above, they are now open for Virtual Sports trading as well. Just for that extra little dimension on your betting.
There is a My Live Races block that you will see on the home page and that is where you can get access to their live streaming that they run on all UK and Irish racing. The races there will appear 30 minutes before post and if you want to watch a race live, go and have a punt on it first.
Payment options - deposit and withdrawal methods 6/10You have a few payment methods at your disposal but they do only accept funds in GBP only. So as a new customer you will want to be aware of that. You can find details of the transaction times in your account and you can only have two cards registered to your account at one time.
Deposit Methods Include: Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro, Mastercard
Withdrawal Methods Include: Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro, Mastercard
User-friendliness of website & mobile app / mobile version 8/10The site is nice to get around, the layout has been done very well and the presentation is fresh, it is light and navigable. So there are no complaints there at all and you can go and down an app to take the entire service with you on the go, or you can just call up their mobile version of the site on your device. Whichever platform you are using, the same flowing design and user-friendliness is there.
Customer Service & Support, Security & Reliability 8/10There is access to the customer support team which runs from 8 am through to midnight daily. The number to call from the UK is 0845 399 6570 but if you wanted to send of an email instead then you would go through firstname.lastname@example.org. If none of that appeals to you, then you might go with the first point of contact which is a live chat console on the website. There is a good help section on the website which we found answered a lot of questions.
Overall / Conclusion 8/10
Overall the look and feel of Betbright is pretty nice. It’s nicely functional but the sportsbook isn’t the most expansive one out there at all. But if you are focused on just the big sports then you won’t be let down by them. There’s plenty going on at the site and the addition of live streams is a huge plus as well. There’s good racing coverage and decent odds all round.
