Euro 2008 Betting
The UEFA European Football Championships 2008 will take place in Switzerland and Austria from
7th of June until 29th of June 2008. A total of 16 teams will try to qualify for the final match
in Vienna.
The first round or "group stage" is played in 4 groups. The winner and the runner-up of each group
will qualify for the quarterfinals. From there on only knockout games will be played and only the
winner of a game will qualify for the next round ("knockout stage").
This important tournament also referred to as "Euro 2008" is of high interest throughout the whole
