PGA Bridgestone International Betting Info
Well, this is one of the famous tournaments which has just been dominated for most of its current history by Tiger Woods. The American has won seven of the last 13 editions held at Firestone, and he has won more here than he has done so at any other course around the world. This is the longest par 70 course on the PGA Tour at around 7,400 yards and you will see a lot of aggression off the tee here, as long as it all stays dry. Will Woods make another title run at Firestone?

It is Woods who tops the billing here, by quite some distance and it’s easy to see why. Not only has he had those seven wins at Firestone before, this term alone on the PGA Tour he has carded four wins. He hasn’t been out since Muirfield for the Open Championship where he took a top ten finish, and his scoring and all-around ranking should get him close again. Six top tens on the season from ten events and no missed cuts. Has been in pretty ominous form and clearly his game fits the Firestone course. He has converted birdie chances well this season, and has been brilliant on par 5s. While it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him walk to the title again here, there may be better value at Evens in the Place Market for him.

PGA Bridgestone International Betting Tips
Such a strong field here there are options galore. After winning The Masters this year, and following up with a T3 at The Open championship, Adam Scott usually shows up in the big tournaments. He also has a bit of history to look at here as well, having carded three top ten finishes at Firestone before. Fantastic with the driving at the moment and he’ll usually find a way to stick it on the green in regulation as well. Could get up a head of steam after Muirfield, but struggled here last year. Therefore worth coverage at 5/4 with Paddy Power in the Top Ten Finish market.

Given the depth of the field here, a Top Ten Finish bet is probably the best way to go here. It covers positive value in big names such as Phil Mickelson and Brandt Snedeker. Phil Mickelson is probably going to attract a lot of backing after his tremendous win at Muirfield for the Open Champsionship. The links was never his style, but he delivered a win there, and there has been a similar story at Firestone for him, the American never really clicking with the course. However, he has posted four top tens here before in his career, and he is in fantastic form with four top three finishes in his last six outings this season.

Brandt Snedeker is looking more and more likely to land another title soon. Was back to his best at the Canadian Open last week, where he strolled away to a three stroke victory. That was his eighth top ten of the season, his scoring on Par 4s really should mean that he’s in contention here this week. Had a horrible final round here last season and wasn’t in the running. Expect better from him though, and at 9/5 for a Top Ten Finish, he and Mickelson, who is at 6/5 for a Top Ten Finish look as if they will be solid bets.

Big European guns like Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Lee Westwood are in the mix, and all could make a case for themselves. McIlroy has top tens in each of his last three appearances at the tournament, Rose finished with a T5 here last year, and in his last five starts at Firestone, Westwood has recorded three top tens (including a runner up spot in 2008). The latter two have shown great consistency all year and probably worth considering for a top ten market.

One of the best outside shots this week could be Australian Jason Day. He has yet to record a win this season, but is right up there in 10th in the FedExCup points standings. He has posted three top three finishes this season and did take a share of 4th here a couple of years ago. Dry conditions will see him bomb things off the tee. Tempting 11/4 shot for a Top Ten Finish at online bookmaker Paddy Power.
