Arsenal v Tottenham Betting Preview
A great North London derby to kick things off this weekend in the Premier League. Just one place and one point separates the two sides in the standings at the moment, with Andre Villas-Boas having the ascendancy with his men. However, both of the rivals have seen their overall form dip and between them they have not mustered up a win in their last four matches combined. Passions will be high, who will win out?

Arsenal v Tottenham Recommended Bet:
Both sides really need a win here and this should be a pretty entertaining affair to watch. There should be goals, as nine of the last ten meetings have had at least three goals in them, and there has been a total of 23 goals in the last four league meetings alone. There has been a mixed bag of results in this fixture recently, with the Gunners winning last season, with two wins for Arsenal, one for Spurs and two draws in the last five. So this looks like a match which could really swing either way. Arsenal have actually only won two of the last eight Premier League matches against Tottenham and they have injury issues heading into this one. Mikel Arteta, Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott are among several players Arsene Wenger has problems with. The home form of the Gunners at the Emirates isn’t so strong at the moment either, winning just two of their last eight there. That suggests that Spurs could well get a point out of this one. Spurs have been alright on the road this term, winning three and losing two. The major issue looking at them, is that they haven’t kept a clean sheet on their travels. Tottenham have lost their last two league matches now, three in their last four. However, they may just have an edge overall with things, especially in the centre of the park where Arsenal have been sorely lacking. The Gunners have one of the best defensive records in the Premier League, but they have a W2 D1 L3 record in their last six matches, because there are frailties there. If Tottenham get Mousa Dembele back to pull midfield strings, then Spurs could well be stronger in that department. But it looks pretty even stevens, both sides are under pressure to get three points in the bag, neither are in great form, so tipping Spurs for a +0.25 Asian Handicap for a price of 6/5 at online bookmaker Paddy Power looks a good option.
