Billy Elliot actor Jamie Bell, (remember him?). Well he has been checked in at a pretty decent price to be the Next James Bond. This is with online betting site Ladbrokes who have pulled him in the market at a price of 8/1 which puts him level with Idris Elba. Bell, who is now 30 years old was previously a 33/1 outsiders to follow on from Daniel Craig in the role.
But in the last 48 hours, Ladbrokes received a stack of bets on Bell to be the next 007 and they had to cut his price to 8/1. So that means that they are believing that he may be in with a decent chance of getting in on the action, considering that he is now the same price a previous outright favourite Elba.
Poldark’s Aidan Turner remains the joint favourite at 2/1 alongside Jack Huston, and there’s 9/4 on offer for James Norton to be handed the famous role.
