A punter from Meath landed two winning €1 lotto bets at Boylesports on Wednesday. The punter, who has stayed anonymous, stuck down the two wagers on Wednesday’s Irish Lottery Main Draw and collected a staggering €8,127.
The big-winning bet was a €1 accumulator on the four numbers 3, 10, 15 and 34 which collected a total of €7,501 but that was topped up when the second wager, a treble on the numbers 3, 10 and 15, saw an extra €626 added to their jackpot.
Aoife Heffron, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports commented “This Meath punter certainly hit the jackpot with their lotto bets, spending just €2 in total and getting a return of €8,127.
“The bet came in two parts, both with a €1 stake, that, had they have been done with the Irish Lotto, would have only returned a combined total of €50.”
She added “As ever we are thrilled to see our customers win big and especially for such small stakes.”
