One punter will be having a cracking St Patrick’s weekend. The punter, from Dublin, hit the jackpot with a massive bet on Thursday’s action from the Cheltenham Festival 2017. The punter saw his Lucky 63 bet return a whopping €12,616.72.
The punter, who has remained anonymous stuck down the wager at Boylesports, risking a total of €63 and the big payoff came in when five of the six selections in the bet came in.
The BoyleSports customer played a Lucky 63 style bet – which is a 6 selection wager consisting of 63 bets: 6 singles, 15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 four-folds, 6 five-folds and a six-fold accumulator.
The selection in the Cheltenham bet were Yorkhill (6/4) in the 1:30, Un De Sceaux in the Ryanair at 9/4, Nichols Canyon at 11/1 in the Stayers’ Hurdle, Road To Respect in the 4:10 at 16/1 and Let’s Dance in the 4:50 at 13/8.
If IsleOfHopeDreams could have placed in the 2:10 race from the Cheltenham Festival, the punter would have walked away with a massive windfall.
