Online bookmaker Paddy Power are running a great Money Back Special for Norwich v Liverpool betting. Just three points separate the two sides heading into Saturday’s match at Carrow Road, and the home side, under the management of Paul Lambert, would see themselves pulling level with the Reds as a big step for his club in their first Premier League season. It is all a matter of expectations and perspectives of course, because Liverpool are perceived to have had a terrible season, while Norwich, three points back have won a lot of plaudits. But there are clear differences, as Norwich haven’t been spending the big money on players like Liverpool have over the past year or so in order to try and win a league title. So can Norwich earn themselves three home points and aim not only for Liverpool, but for a very commendable and well earned top ten finish to the season?

Well, if Norwich do happen to win, then Paddy Power have a great money back special running for the game. In Norwich v Liverpool betting, if the Canaries pull out a win, then Paddy Power will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast single bets placed on the match. That is a lot of coverage, because Norwich are in decent enough form at home, and Liverpool have been terribly shaky on the road. So if Norwich come up with a win, then bets such as Luis Suarez at 5/1 in the First Goalscorer Market, or a 1-1 Correct Score, or perhaps Andy Carroll at 6/1 as Last Goalscorer, would all be covered in the event of these bets losing. So fantastic coverage for Norwich v Liverpool betting on offer from Paddy Power.

Paul Lambert’s Norwich City have the chance to draw level on points with Liverpool and that has to been seen as some kind of success for a first season in the Premier League. However, Norwich have been stumbling quite a bit lately, including a recent 2-0 away defeat at Blackburn, in which they should have done much better against a weak side. Still, it’s been a learning curve and the Canaries need to find a way just to tighten up things at the back at little bit. Their last home match resulted in a 6-1 drubbing by Manchester City, but the Canaries have only lost one of their last four at home now. Plus there was a well earned 1-1 draw at Anfield earlier in the season. Norwich are just a bit hit and miss, they are exciting going forward and will probably attack down the wings and try to get plenty of cross into danger man Grant Holt. A top half of the table finish is a big possibility for Norwich, they just need to raise themselves after a long season to get there.

Kenny Dalglish must be wondering why his side just can’t get the ball in the net. Thirty times now they have hit the woodwork this season, and missed chances against West Brom at Anfield cost them dearly again last weekend. After dominating the game, the forwards misfired again, wasting chance after chance and then the inevitable counter-punch happened from the Baggies. That left Liverpool with a terrible record of nine defeats in fifteen matches since the turn of the year. The Reds have lost Charlie Adam for the rest of the season, but they do get back Steven Gerrard, who sat out the West Brom defeat. Liverpool have come under fire at home badly lately, but they haven’t found any salvation on the road either. On their travels recently, they have lost four of their last five. They did manage three points in their last away game, the tense 3-2 win at Ewood Park against Blackburn. Averaging barely over a goal again isn’t enough for a club with such big ambitions. Now it is just about doing all they do in their remaining three games for some credibility, and hope to finish the season with a bang by winning the FA Cup.
